Chennai: Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena has asked the Returning Officer of R.K. Nagar constituency to get a report from the Director-General of Police on police officials campaigning for Chief Minister Jayalalithaa for the by-poll scheduled for June 27. Car thief arrested in Saligramam

Chennai: A thief who allegedly targeted small cars of Maruti Suzuki was nabbed by the public while he attempted to speed away in a stolen car in Saligramam a few days ago. Police have seized three cars from the suspect. Police sources said Rajamanickam (26) from Mogappair had stolen cars parked outside houses in Vadapalani, Virugambakkam and Valasaravakkam and had been operating for nearly six months.
